This is a chance to sit and observe these wonderful surroundings, draw with project guidance from renowned textile artist Pauline Burbidge, and link with a small intimate group (max 6).

Be inspired by the plant life, glasshouses and the Walled Garden at the Hugo Burge Foundation. This is a chance to sit and observe these wonderful surroundings, draw with project guidance from renowned textile artist Pauline Burbidge, and link with a small intimate group (max 6).
The morning will be filled with various short drawing projects, connected with observing the plant life in the Glasshouses. The afternoon will be a more free-form approach, drawing around the Walled Garden (weather permitting) choosing your own style and subject matter.
The aim at the end of the day to have made a series of drawings, that can link with your own practice – time to observe – time to draw – time to invent.
Participants will need to bring their own sketchbooks, or paper and drawing board, a selection of pencils. (full details to be given later)
Bring your own packed lunch – tea, coffee & cake will be provided.
