Come and learn to weave a beautiful and durable rush seat at The Marchmont Workshop. This two day course will cover weaving a rush seat from start to finish, what tools and materials are necessary, as well as information on how and where to source your own rush for future endeavours.

Join our resident weaver, Scarlett, for our new weaving club. Bring your own table top loom, frame loom or tapestry loom and spend a day weaving at the Hugo Burge Foundation in the Common Room, if you don’t have access to a loom there will be a few small aluminium frame looms to hire.

Join artist and printmaker Georgie Fay and printing press 'Larkin' for a relaxed day of printmaking at Hugo Burge Foundation's Common Room. These hands-on sessions are for slightly more experienced printmakers wanting to use the studio and press as a space to play, experiment and learn with others.
