Over four weeks (one day per week), botanical artist Oleksandra Novatska will guide you step by step into the world of botanical art. With time between sessions to reflect and practice at your own pace, you’ll discover that botanical art is not too difficult, and the process can be both relaxing and deeply enjoyable.

Each week, you’ll receive personal homework tailored to your level and individual feedback in the next session, so you can grow at your own pace without pressure. To make the process easier and more enjoyable, Oleksandra will share her unique Botanical Art teaching diagrams, created to simplify learning and clarify the artistic process.
This course is perfect for beginners, as well as anyone with some art experience who would like to explore the beauty of botanical art in a supportive and inspiring environment.

This workshop will include a lunch break. Please bring your own packed lunch and materials. Materials list will be sent when course is purchased.

Oleksandra Novatska is a professional artist with a deep passion for contemporary botanical art. With over seventeen years of formal art education, spanning art school, college, and the Academy, she has built a strong foundation in both traditional and modern approaches to drawing and painting.
Oleksandra has led numerous botanical art workshops, both in person and online, including during the COVID-19 pandemic, where she supported students in developing their skills. Alongside teaching, she creates botanical illustrations and paintings for private commissions and exhibits her work locally and internationally.
Her teaching style is supportive and inspiring, helping students of all levels gain confidence while discovering the beauty of botanical accuracy and artistic expression.
