This course is designed for beginners or people who want to try a new more illustrative printmaking technique. Tetra Pak printing is a creative and eco-friendly printmaking technique that uses recycled materials to create unique prints. It's a form of intaglio printing, similar to drypoint and collagraph, where you carve, cut, or peel the surface of the Tetra Pak to create a textured plate. We will then ink the plate and transfer the design onto paper using our new printmaking press.

We will start by exploring at Hugo Burge Foundation collecting inspiration and then Georgie will introduce the studio equipment and begin with demonstrations of how to use the tetra pak, leaving time to play and experiment together to develop some exciting results!

Materials are provided but please bring an apron or clothes you mind getting inky!
