Our Head Gardener Toby Loveday will lead you on a tour through our enchanting walled garden and beautifully restored glasshouse.
Throughout the summer, we will be inviting visitors to join us for a lovely tour of our walled garden and glasshouses, Hugo Burge’s pride and joy and now a creative centre for the Foundation.
While strolling through the serene atmosphere, Head Gardener Toby Loveday will guide you through the the gardens, discussing the beautiful flora and the work it takes to maintain it. Toby will also discuss the history of the garden and its glorious restoration in 2017/2018 led by Hugo's vision. You'll gain insight into the garden team's plan for the space's future as a part of The Hugo Burge Foundation, and its new role as a source of creativity, inspiration, education and relaxation for residents and visitors alike.
You'll have the chance to explore a wide-variety of lush foliage and vibrant blooms, from flower-rich borders to fruit and vegetable patches.
The garden also boasts some of our most striking artworks, spanning from the 18th century to the present day. From living sculptures to an avenue of colonnades, visitors, visitors, whether art enthusiasts or garden lovers, will be captivated by the abundance of beauty on display.
Children under 12 and carers supporting the person they care for are free of charge on the garden tours.
Any profits or donations go directly to supporting our charitable objectives.
