This summer, as part of Scotland's Garden Scheme, we will be welcoming visitors every Friday from July 4 to August 29 into our Walled Garden and Glasshouses.
The Walled Garden at the Hugo Burge Foundation, nestled within the Scottish Borders, offers a serene and inspiring environment that beautifully marries horticulture with the arts. This recently redeveloped garden serves as a creative hub, reflecting the Foundation's mission to inspire creativity and support the arts.
New for 2025, we are happy to be part of Scotland's Gardens Scheme, joining other fantastic gardens across Scotland who will open to raise money for charity. Visitors can explore a variety of features, including:
We’ll also be joined by Coffee End, a local Hawick business, on our open days, who will be providing teas, coffees, snacks and treats for us to enjoy in the gardens.
The Walled Garden welcomes visitors every Friday from July 4 to August 29, between 12 PM and 4 PM. Admission is £7.00, with free entry for children. Please note that pre-booking is essential. Dogs are not allowed into the Walled Garden (other than registered assistance dogs)
