This two day course will cover weaving a rush seat from start to finish, what tools and materials are necessary, as well as information on how and where to source your own rush for future endeavours. Limited to 4 students to ensure a bespoke learning experience.
If you have an old chair in need of a new seat, you are more than welcome to bring it along to work on, or alternatively the workshop can supply one of our stool or chair frames!
The course will start at 9am on both days and finish at 5pm, with an hours lunch break.
Tea, coffee and biscuits will be available throughout the day and lunch will be provided on both days. (Please contact the workshop with any dietary requirements and they will happy to accommodate.

Optional extras: If you wish, you have the option to add a stool or Bedales Side Chair frame, that you can weave on your course and take away with you. The two options are available at the bottom of the page. Simply select the course date you want, add to basket, then if you’d like to add a frame, click either of the ‘add to course’ buttons at the base of the page.
