Join artist and printmaker Georgie Fay and printing press 'Larkin' for a relaxed day of printmaking at the Hugo Burge Foundation studios. These hands-on sessions are for slightly more experienced printmakers wanting to use the studio and press as a space to play, experiment and learn with others. It is like an open studio and welcomes budding artists, or for those wanting to realise a project or technique and just need some space and guidance. Georgie will be there for any technical help and guidance but note this is not a taught class.Print Club at Hugo Burge Foundation is for participants with some experience of printmaking, if you are a beginner then there will be classes available to book on the website.  Print Club is the chance to come together and learn how to use the printing press to create your own works of art or develop your ideas and practice. There is potential to try techniques such as; monoprinting, stencil monotype, drypoint, lino/woodcut, cyanotype, etching and collograph.Basic materials and equipment will be provided, but bring anything specialised including paper and your sketchbook and ideas. Also wear clothes you don't mind getting inky!
